Paget disease of the breast is a rare type of cancer involving the skin of the nipple, and usually the darker circle of skin around it, which is called the areola.  Most people with Paget disease of the breast also have one or more tumor inside the same breast - either ductal carcinoma in situ [...]

Look at this find: "Most crucially, during this current period of economic and financial uncertainty, consumers are increasingly focusing on their image, thus looking to establish their own identity and personal status. This has developed not only through the [...]

Can LED Lights Help Prevent Breast Cancer?

By | 2013-04-11T15:52:05+00:00 April 11th, 2013|Morag's desk|Comments Off on Can LED Lights Help Prevent Breast Cancer?

Interesting reading regarding LED in our lives.  Most important is to shut off computers and televisions!  I still 'see' flicking lights with my eyes shut, so do believe these pieces of equipment are not good while trying to sleep. Living in a city, outside city lights affect sleep with so many lights....I love the darkness [...]

Realisation Hits!

Times like this, sitting in the airport and reflecting on the last training.  Listening to the estheticians (students) and to the lives of those that are undergoing/have undergone cancer treatment and it just impacts me over and over again at what a huge change one has to make to their lives when cancer hits! I [...]
