Deborah Goldberg is dually licensed as an occupational therapist and a licensed esthetician. She has worked with patients for 18 years as an occupational therapist in many settings, and has earned certifications as both a certified hand therapist and lymphedema specialist.
She enjoys treating clients in all aspects of skin care but has a particular interest in oncology clients and has advanced training in manual lymph drainage and a certification in Clinical Oncology Esthetics.
“People who experience any type of cancer treatment are usually going through a wide range of emotions,” Goldberg said. “Skincare treatments have the ability to calm anxiety and pain, as well as increase comfort. The power of touch is very important during cancer treatments and is often overlooked with so many other issues. Gaining information about the right skincare products for dryness or skin irritations can make a difference before, during, and after cancer therapies. I believe this type of facial has the ability to increases quality of life for clients.”
