Staff Donate to Allegiance Women’s Health Center for Oncology Esthetics

Over the last six years, Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan, has provided an opportunity for staff to participate in a giving campaign called “Circle of Strength.” The Circle of Strength campaign allows staff to have a significant, personal impact on the lives of others. Through this campaign, staff may join the Circle of Strength by donating toward various projects and programs, which will benefit patients, the community and fellow staff members.

In the spring of 2015, one of the giving options was the Allegiance Women’s Health Center. Specifically, donations from staff would be used toward massages and facials for women who have completed their cancer treatment at Allegiance Health. The Center received a generous donation of more than $5,900 toward certificates for these special treatments.

The estheticians and massage therapists at the Allegiance Women’s Health Center are certified in oncology esthetics through Oncology Training International (OTI). They take time with each client and tailor the treatment to meet each woman’s unique needs. After their facials and massages, the very relaxed clients say how much they loved their treatment and how wonderful they feel.
